The Next Dragonfly Ball will be held on Saturday November 10th 2012 at No.19 Close House (SOLD OUT!)

We had such a fantastic night at our first Dagonfly Ball that we have already sold out for our next Ball.

If you have missed out this year, don't delay... we are now reserving tables for our Ball in September 2013 If you live further afield, Close House  is an absolutely beautiful Hotel amid stunning grounds and  set in the heart of the tyne Valley, Nothumberland. It is well worth travelling to for a lovely weekend break.

We had such a lovely evening at the last ball that for 2012 we are sticking with this small but intimate venue which provided a very high standard of service and a first class meal that was highly complimented. 

Our 2013 Ball will still be at Close House but due to the high demand it will be a much bigger event!

The 2011 ball was a huge success and thanks to many generous contributions from both individuals and businesses, alongside the hard work of our ball comittee the Ball raised almost £13,000 for the charity.

You can see from the pictures below that everyone had an absolutely fantastic time and we are delighted to be doing the whole thing all over again in 2012 with some additonal surprises.

The evening started in the main house with a sparkling wine reception and music from the fantastic Fenner Sisters. Professional photographer Shona Branigan took some stunning portrait pictures as people arived at Close House (With all portraits purchased Shona is giving % to the charity)  view pictures

We had a bit of fun with transport to No.19 by golf buggy and after a 1st Class meal we had music and entertainment provided by the lovely and very talented singer, Paul Pashley who instantly had people up and dancing.

 Once at No.19 the fundraising kicked off with a very generous donation of One Thousand Pounds which was gratefully recieved from Zurich Insurance Co.

It was a fantastic evening Everone seemed to really enjoy the whole event and we can't wait until the next one!
