If you would like to get more involved and can spare a day or more on a regular basis we would love to hear from you.

We have several volunteers on board at the moment, all making a big difference to the charity in a variety of ways.Our charity office is open on Tuesdays for you to come and see what we are up to, maybe there is something you can do that you hadn't thought about.

Volunteers in our Dragonfly Shop.

Shirley, Alison, Val, Helen & Joss are some of our regular volunteers who help in the Dragonfly Shop to keep our staff costs to a minimum.

Are you an experienced sales person who could offer a day or more on a regular basis?

 Volunteers from Home 

Would you be interested in speaking to small groups? Susan helps spread the word about the charity by giving fundraising talks to small groups and selling some dragonfly goods to help raise funds in a relaxed atmosphere either at her home or at friends.

Maurine helps us from her home doing research on the internet and sending us information sheets to saving us hours in time every week.

 Tess is a new volunteer getting work experience on administration side

Patrick has joined us recently and has commited to one day a week for a year in oder to help us co-ordinate and make the most of the national and open fundraising challenges whilst adding another dimention to his CV

Sue & Mandy  are our ball ladies who have organised the Dagonfly Ball at Close House this year. Sue works in the office for at least a day every week and has an expert in getting vaious companies to donate fantastic raffle prizes.

Rachel is a business studies university student  who has joined us on a placement working on the chaities PR side

Laura, Aylish & Stephanie come in after school each week to help as as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award and Rachel is another school student who comes in to help and does a lot of fundraising for us in her school

Lyndsey is in charge of our Art & Craft boxes,keeping track of the stock and getting the boxes ready to send out to all the hospitals.

Cathrine spends her uni hollidays suporting us by organising all our information into worksheets and files.

Heather comes in regular basis to co-ordinate the dragonfly badges keeping track of their wareabouts and the income raised by sales.

Dispite the involvement of all these lovely people we always need more volunteers.

We need people to help distribute or organise collections, set up fundraising groups in different areas and we need people to oganise in aid of events and help with fundraising events.

We are currently looking for people to be on our Board of Governors and we are also looking for aditional Trustees
